One of the most challenging aspects of your Wiccan practice and an important choice you’ll make is the decision to either remain a solitary practitioner, or to join a coven. As a solitary Wiccan you will have the freedom to build a spiritual path that is uniquely personal; as a coven member, you’ll be expected to meet coven rules, obligations, and milestones within a specific time frame. My favorite part of writing my new book was the bio’s for some of the founding patrons of the pagan movement from the 1960s and 70s, because the nostalgia for that era was exciting, and it made me realize how far we’ve come. It was also a heartwarming segment to write because I’ve personally spoken to a couple of these founding pagans and spiritual icons: Z Budapest and Raymond Buckland. I know you’re going to love it.
