Missing Person Reading

It’s been a long time since I’ve done one of these readings, and I can’t really explain what prompted me to do this one, other than it’s a complusion that often feels that it comes from somewhere other than me. In my book, “Tarot: A Witch’s Journey”, I included several missing person/criminal case readings; some have been solved and others have not. I’ve never publicly posted a reading for a case that was still open and on-going in the glare of the public eye, so this is a new venture for me. I think the biggest deterent to doing readings like this for most psychics is the fear of being ‘wrong’. Psychic readings are not, after all, an exact science. But as I’ve said many times before– I’ve never regretted anything I’ve said in any psychic reading; but I have regretted many things that I left unsaid.

I am aware of this case, but I have not been following it closely in the news, so I don’t know what’s been found or where, who all the characters are in the scenario, or where the case stands right now. I have not attempted to look at the information that ‘s come to me during this reading in a logical manner; I simply wrote down what came to mind, what showed up in the cards, and the answers that I received with my pendulum. I simply pass along the information received, I don’t try to explain it.

Missing Person Reading

11-8-2011

Subject: “Baby Lisa”

Lisa Irwin

Kansas City, Missouri

Disappeared: October 3, 2011

Six cards were drawn, laid in pyramid fashion, i.e. three cards at the top in the first row, two cards beneath that, and a single card at the bottom. I call this my ‘window’, and this gives me a basic foundational look at the overall picture. To expand this information, that is to learn more from any one of the cards laid in this original spread, I will remove this card from the pyramid and draw three more cards for it. This is the general way I begin a reading.

The Pyramid:

Knight/wands ®………10/wands ®………Queen/pentalces

10/swords………2/wands ®

2/swords

First impressions:

As I begin turning the cards with my left hand, I have a pen in my right hand and I begin jotting down whatever comes into my mind, whether it makes any sense or not, often I am not even looking at the paper I’m writing on, but stay focused on the cards. The result is that when I refer to this sheet of paper, I will see things written all over it in a helter-skelter fashion. The idea is not to think or dwell on ideas or impressions, but just to jot them down as quickly as they pop into my head, the reason being that my sub-conscious thought process is much more aware than that part of my mind that deals with logic.

The following narrative is my first impression of these cards:

Ran away/charging to the rescue/thundering- pounding/arrogant & loyal/a waning moon/a leather belt/a crossroads- water- butterflies/a great burden or weight/a woman who does not see- denial/blind/denial/a pile of logs or wood- feathers-reptiles/waiting by the water/reptiles-wood-feathers/the mother/earth/garden/poppies/logs-trees-timber/a stone barrier/butterflies-moths-water/death- cut, stabbed, pierced

Second impressions:

After jotting down the first impression of each individual card, I’ll look at the pyramid as a whole and see what type of information, if any, unfolds. Most of the time, the cards will tell a story:

The first thing that comes to mind is that two individuals are involved in Baby Lisa’s disappearance, and these individuals share a deep connection or partnership of some kind. The ten of swords, in my readings, is the closest that comes to any card for showing a death. At any rate, it’s never a good sign and generally smacks of foreboding dark energy. The female character involved in Lisa’s disappearance either acted rashly, not thinking things through clearly; or she was not the major participant in this event, but rather was more of an accomplice. Her main contribution to this scenario right now is her lack of will to reveal needed information.

At this point, I’m going to draw more cards for some of the original cards first laid to expand the story:

Queen of Pentacles

7/wands ®………The Magician………Page/pentacles ®

The Queen, I feel, represents the female involved in Lisa’s disappearance, and I believe that in this case, it may be a maternal figure. This is a woman who feels caught between two strong male figures, which leaves her with a sense of helplessness in some aspect and an inability to act on her own, either because of intimidation, the desire to protect someone, or fear.

The following cards– the magician and the page of pentacles seems to represent two separate male figures, and one of them possesses more control in this situation than the other. One has more power and a dominant position within the triangle, and one is more reckless and questionable– both in character and behavior. The page indicates that one of these male figures may be considerably younger than the other.

The seven of wands indicates conflict within this group, which can include power plays, disagreements, and feelings of defensiveness.

10/swords

The Tower ®………3/cups ®………The Sun ®

These cards indicate that there was some cataclysmic event which most likely led to the injury or death of Baby Lisa. The cards point to three individuals being involved, though it’s not clear whether these individuals were all involved together at the moment of the event, or whether someone came into this scenario after the fact. The cards do leave me with the impression that whatever this horrific event was, it may have been an accident at the beginning, leading to a conspiracy to hide the fact afterwards.

The reading above offers a scenario, along with a cast of possible suspects or characters connected to the story. However, the fact remains that someone is physically missing and more detailed information is required in order to find this person. Tarot cards don’t provide this type of information for me. In order to gather more detailed data through psychic means, I used a map and my pendulum.

This first pendulum reading done here, is done with a rough hand-drawn map that gives me perimeters stemming from the original location, in this case the house and yard, and gradually broadening out mile by mile from the central spot. I take it one step at a time, beginning in the center of the map, which in this case is the house, and moving in an ever widening circle, asking precise questions as I go. The four cardinal points of the compass are also indicated on this map– north, east, south, and west.

1. Is Baby Lisa physically within the house?

No

2. Is Baby Lisa physically within the garage?

Yes. The pendulum indicated that evidence could be found in this area. On my hand-drawn map, I added a ‘garage’ onto the east side of the building, though in reality, I’m unfamiliar with the house and grounds. I just wanted to be able to exclude a garage or attached garage, if there is one; and I inadvertently add this attachment to the east side of the main location (the house).

3. Is Baby Lisa physically in the yard, or on the grounds, that goes with this house?

Yes. Apparently there is evidence that can be found in this area. I haven’t been following this case closely, so I’m not sure what may already have been discovered, if anything, or where, so I want to narrow this general question down to be more specific about the direction within the yard where this evidence can be found.

4. Is Baby Lisa physically located in the north side of the yard?

No

5. Is Baby Lisa physically located in the west side of the yard?

No

6. Is Baby Lisa physically located in the south side of the yard?

No

7. Is Baby Lisa physically located in the east side of the yard?

Yes. Once again, the pendulum gave a positive response when held over the map on the east side of the main location, which is the house. I don’t know if there is a garage on this side of the building, but if there is, or if there is an outbuilding of some kind located here, it’s indicated that evidence can be found in this location. If the authorities have already searched this area, which I presume they have, I would tell them to look again.

Balancing the Chakras

I may have posted this information sometime ago, but someone needs it, and I’m going to re-post…This is actually faster than looking it up.  For more information on the chakras, click  Here

Balancing the Chakras is very simple, although it will require a few stones, a pendulum, and a healing crystal.

 Balancing the Chakras

The stones I prefer to use for this process includes:

 Hematiteroot chakra

Carneliansacral chakra

Citrinesolar plexis

Rose quartzheart chakra

Blue lace agatethroat chakra

Sodalitethird eye

Amethystcrown chakra

Make sure the recipient of this charka balancing session is reclining comfortably.  Place a small pillow under their head and one beneath their knees if they wish, to relieve back strain.

Before I begin, I explain to the recipient what I’m going to do, and I use this opportunity to assure them they can place the stones for the root chakra and the breast chakra (if the client is female) themselves.

To lay the stones, begin at the feet with a smoky quartz, if you choose to use this stone in this position.  This is a good practice to facilitate grounding.  Otherwise begin at the root chakra, placing the hematite stone, or having the client place the stone, on the pubic bone.

Everyone’s body shape is different, and it may be awkward or impossible to get a stone to lie in this spot for some people.  If that is the case—the body, in this position, forms a ‘Y’; place the stone at the base of the ‘v’ formed by the crease of the legs, at the top of the thighs, and at the base of the genital area.

Place the carnelian stone over the sacral chakra, the lower abdomen.  In women, this would be where the womb and ovaries are located.

Next, is the solar plexus, located approximately three inches above the naval.  Here, place the citrine crystal.

At the heart chakra, between the breasts, you’ll lay a stone of rose quartz.  If your client is a female, she may be more comfortable placing this stone herself.

To lay a stone for the throat chakra, place the blue lace agate at the base of the throat, in the hollow that you will generally find here.

The third eye chakra can be found between the eyebrows and just slightly above them.  Gently lay the sodalite stone in this spot.  Occasionally you will have a client who feels the weight of this stone, no matter how small, very acutely.  Be careful in placing the stone in this very sensitive spot, and reassure the recipient that sensations she/he may feel are not unusual.

For the crown chakra, you will want to take your amethyst crystal and lay it gently on the pillow just above the client’s head.  Tuck it up close so that it’s in contact with the body.

There, you have your crystals and stones in place.  Allow the client to remain laying in this position for 15-20 minutes.  It helps to set the tone if you have some soft ambient music in the background, perhaps a subtle incense, and low lighting or candlelight.  It also helps the client to relax if they feel secure, that their privacy will not be violated, and that they will not be interrupted.

Make sure your client knows that if any of the stones happen to slip from their position during this process, they should leave them lay and not try to replace them.  This often means that the stone’s work is done.

After 15 or 20 minutes, we’ll now check the chakras for inconsistencies in their energy.

I personally prefer a pendulum for this process, and you may find that this works well too.

Checking the Chakras:

Beginning at the root chakra and working your way up hold the pendulum a few inches above the body and give it a few moments to work.  If it swings back & forth, side-to-side to the body, it means that this chakra is blocked.  If the pendulum swings back and forth head-to-toe, in line with the body, it means that the chakra needs to be re-energized but is not blocking the passage of energies from the other chakras.  A positive movement of the pendulum, which for me is a circle, means that this chakra is just fine. You can proceed two ways– either by automatically re-energizing all the chakras, regardless of your pendulum findings; or simply by re-energizing and unblocking the problem chakras.  When you work on any of the problem chakras, remember to check them again with your pendulum once you’ve cleared and re-energized them.  If you’re really thorough, and your client hasn’t been laying flat for an uncomfortable length of time, you can recheck all of the chakras at the end of this process.

To clear and re-energize the chakras, I use a three inch clear quartz crystal point.

First, remove the negative energy and etheric trash from the chakra:  Lay the quartz crystal in your receiving hand with the point away from you; place your projective hand, facing downward, at your side, aimed towards the ground to harmlessly disperse this negative energy back to the earth.  Hold your receiving hand just above the chakra you’re working on and slowly begin to move this hand with the crystal in it in small counter-clockwise rotations, lifting it higher and higher from the body as you do.

You may or may not notice strange physical sensations with the actual movement of energy.  Some people do and some don’t.  Just because you may not feel any physical sensation, it does not mean that what you’re doing isn’t working—the energy just may be very subtle and you’re not picking it up.

Once you’ve ‘pulled’ the negative energy out of the chakra, and you feel that it’s as cleared as you can get it, you are going to re-charge it with positive energy:   Take the clear quartz crystal and place it in your projective hand with the point facing towards you.  Hold your receiving hand out to your side, palm up to draw positive energy inward.  Holding your projective hand containing the crystal a ways above the chakra that you’re working on, begin to move this hand in small ever-widening clockwise circles, moving closer and closer to your client’s body and the chakra.  Stop just above it.

Circle the area as often as you feel you need to, and at slower or faster speeds, until you feel that enough positive energy has moved through your receiving hand, along your arms, and exited through your projective hand and the crystal into the client’s body.

Now you can use your pendulum to check the energy of this chakra.  Hopefully all is well and you’ll be able to move on to the next chakra; if not, repeat the process until you get a positive reading from your pendulum letting you know that the chakra has been properly cleared and reenergized.

Make sure that throughout this process you remember to ask your client from time to time if they’re comfortable, and don’t make anyone lay on their back for too extended a period.  Some people with blocked energy and unbalanced chakras may need more than one session to clear things up.

Once you are finished and have reached the end of this session with your client, remove the stones that have been placed upon the chakras at the beginning of the session, do so starting with the crown chakra and work your way down.  Removing the stones in this progression, ending with the hematite stone at the root chakra, or the smoky quartz if you’ve placed one at their feet, facilitates grounding.

Tarot Mysteries: Ghost Reading

I decided, one snowy afternoon in February, to try something new with my tarot cards.  I set myself up with The Goddess tarot deck and a ouija board as my table and invited a spirit who had passed over to come forward and communicate with me through the cards.  The idea of doing this had come to me after I used a pendulum earlier that day to ask if there was a spirit in the room with me…the pendulum had said ‘yes’; and I wanted to know more.

Ghost Reading

Prince/swords     7/cups ®     Oppression

The first card, the Prince, gives the impression of sharp objects– perhaps someone who worked with knives or some other sharp cutting tools, or machinery of this nature; a difficult life– a string of bad luck; a series of unfortunate events/messages/relationships.  Also…something that is held close to the heart– whatever this might be, this individual, even in death, feels affection or love for someone or something that is intense.  Whatever this bond was in life, it is so strong that death can’t break it.

Decisions to make, several of them, leading to a period of confusion, possible mental overload, or an individual suffering from mental issues.  This person may have been in an unconscious state, a coma, or a state of mental dementia for some time before they passed.

Death for this individual came as a welcome release from mental anguish.  At death, this individual experienced the sensation of ‘awakening’ upon passing over, finding themselves in a totally unfamiliar place on the other side, although initially confusing, I don’t feel it was a negative experience.

I’m also picking up a ‘mirror image’.  A double– perhaps a twin.  The energy of this spirit feels male, and I don’t believe that this person was into their elderly years when they passed.  I feel that they were probably middle-aged when they crossed over.

Do you recognize this spirit?

(This is a photo of my ouija board, pendulum, and tarot deck.)
