It feels good to be back doing somewhat normal things in a somewhat familiar routine. Joe’s death was a terrible shock. Our divorce was just finalized about 2 weeks before the event, and we were still talking. It was very unpleasant and unexpected, receiving a 6am telephone call from the San Diego Medical Examiner. It took my mind a few minutes to process what I was hearing. I’ll be posting a very special story about his lost wedding ring and how and when it suddenly turned up for me. But for now, I want to try and get a grip on my brain so that I can concentrate and do all the stuff that needs doing on a daily basis…It’s going to be a very odd summer.

Ty, How are you doing after your personal post yesterday?
I’m doing fine! People want a more personal up-close look at my life (especially on the Every Cat blog), so I gave it to them!! I have a feeling that some people have a strange unrealistic perception of what my life is really like, which I’ve never understood, and I’ve always found amusing. I’m just as messed up, stressed out, and swallowed up by life as everyone else. Writers don’t write because they have all the answers; writers write because we’re looking for the answers, just like everyone else.
I know. I feel the same as u on many levels about some things u mentioned. It’s not easy. You do seem to be a bit too busy tho. I do hope you can find time for you. I seem to be in a situation myself that has proven difficult to remedy putting me in a state of unending frustration. I can’t seem to take my own advice and channel in to rid myself of this battle.
