Oh, boy… after publishing the written version of this reading, I was hit with an unexpected bombshell from the universe. For someone out there, this is very specific. The firestorm that’s going to take you for surprise — EXpect the unEXpected — it’s an EX, and this person is going to do or say something to blow your present world apart. For the rest of you, carry on and take it one card at a time.
So, I just finished watching the first season of Megan Markle’s new Netflix life style show: With love, Meghan.
I loved it. And I left a comment on the YouTube trailer of this show saying just that and more — how relaxing it was to watch, that it has an almost ASMR quality about it, that it’s very calm and filled with beautiful images, and colors, and decor. I said that I also loved her soft quiet voice throughout the show, that it just added to the calm and relaxing ambiance.
To my comment was added two positive replies mirroring my own opinions, only two people who had something positive and constructive to say about a delightful, beautifully filmed, fun show. Only two people. As I scrolled through the rest of the comments, I actually became alarmed at the amount of snide, vulgar, ugly, hatefilled rhetoric…

I was watching one of my favorite YouTube channels the other day, a channel that narrates dark, mysterious, and unusual stories. The story that I was listening to involved the disappearance, over a number of years, of people living within a certain area. One of the “clues” that came up in this story was the pentagram, which had been found etched into stones in a clearing in the woods, of course. And the narrator went on to explain that this was a symbol of Satanists and might indicate that there had been human sacrifices in this area, no kidding. I didn’t bother leaving a comment, a correction, or an explanation. One person had tried to do that already, but it just seemed to get buried in all the hyperbole of the conversation already underway. So, let’s clear a few things up…

Clairsentience:
One of the most memorable and recent experiences I’ve had with clairsentience is an experience that I actually included in my last book, The Divine Me, on page 61. The short version… I was at a stop light at an intersection and when the light turned green, I simply knew I should not go, and my body confirmed this by freezing up. Once the rampant speeding car barreled though this intersection, the speeding car that would have broadsided us if I had been making my turn, I knew that it was safe to continue, and so did my body.
Clairsentience works overtime for me when I’m doing readings with a deck of tarot cards. They seem to be a trigger for me, and one glance can reveal things about my querent that I just “know”. If people really were aware of how revealing this can be, there might be some who would choose not to get readings at all. And I’ve often wondered if it works like this for other readers, and if not, what are they picking up and how?
This happened one time when I was at a Scooter’s Coffee Shop doing a reading for a lady. She was 30-something, blond, and looked so quiet and nice and slightly worried and sad. I laid my first row of cards out on the table and I said (in a discreet whisper), “Someone is having an affair.”, me thinking it must be her husband or boyfriend, what do I know. She vehemently denied it, “Oh, no, nope, no.” I kept telling her “Yes, someone is having an affair.”
Probably in desperation by now, she leans over the table, cups her hands around her mouth and in a stage whisper says, “Me, it’s me, I’m having an affair.”

A terribly blustery and totally insistent wind tried with all its unearthly might to knock the man’s top hat from his head. In spite of the dubious position of the Top Hat Man, he managed to not only hang onto his hat, but also to each and every individual represented by his nine wands as well. He kept them all in line, he did, with the help of his wicked vengeful assistant, with her sharp-eyed observations and her vicious little tongue. He had them all in his pocket, so he thought, he had so much on each and every one, what could they do, after all.
The man at the end of the harbor, sitting in dull solitude with his private thoughts and regrets, watched The Top Hat Man in apathetic silence. He was too distanced from real life and action, and he was too disillusioned by his own catastrophes to give any comment, or make any movement to join the evil pair in their foray. All he could do was hang on to his one familiar wand, afraid to let go, afraid to lose something, afraid to move on. He sat as an eternal statue between the greatest calamity of his life and the greatest opportunity of his life, which was swiftly passing him by, galloping off towards better prospects.
And all this time, the cunning red-headed princess held her position, motionless as a statue, her sword raised and readied. Prepared she was, to swing the deadly blow. Though it appears that the gentlemen were the center of the story, the potential catalyst of this tale, this was not so.
She bided her time, patience was her virtue.

This was my very first blog, and it’s been quite a journey and an experience. I treasure this space like a beloved old worn journal, and I intend to maintain it until the end. However, with that said, I hate the way the blog text is chopped up with advertisements. It just ruins the whole feel and ambiance of a post. I just looked at one of the last recent complete posts I put here, and it just seems ruined to me, cluttered with advertisements between the images and the text. I put so much time and effort into how a post looks, the visuals, as well as the written content.
