Welcome to Spilling the Tea, stories created with the magic of tarot cards. These are purely fictional creations, the result of creative writing and a vivid imagination… or are they? If you should recognize yourself, or a particular person, or a certain situation, it will be pure coincidence… or is it?
Crystal Clear Enchantments is a living study in cathartics. The oddest thing I’ve noticed about getting old is that all of the sudden memories of something that bothered you at the time pop into your head, and here you may have thought that this was an isolated incident from the past and that it doesn’t matter now.
But your sub-concious mind has other ideas.
Being a writer, I started writing down these memories, along with the feelings that they churned up. And being a writer, I decided that I wasn’t going to just write this stuff down and stick it in a desk drawer. Hell no, I’m going to share it.
At first I was afraid that these experiences and the emotions surrounding them would sound small and petty, and then I thought to myself, what the hell. If these experiences and the emotions that resulted have stayed lodged in my sub-concious brain, they are important to me.
So here you go, the handful of posts that are up at this new blog right now show-casing experiences that have shaped and molded me into the old crone that I am today. There will be more to come, I’m pretty sure. The sub-concious mind is a deep well, and it seems to get deeper with each passing decade.
Read them with patience, empathy, compassion, and understanding.
If you all haven’t noticed, you can no longer play YouTube videos on most other platforms except YouTube, including this blog (Every Cat Has a Tale). When you click on a video, a strange gray screen comes up and it tells you that you have to log in to continue, but I’ve found that there’s no link included to log in. It might just be me. However, when you bring up a blog post containing a video, you’ll see the video sitting there in all it’s glory, as though waiting to be clicked on so it can play. Do this instead…
1. Look in the upper right hand corner of the video, see those three vertical dots? Click on them.
2. The word “Share”, with a rounded arrow will appear. Click on that.
3. A blue highlighted link will come up — Click on that. The video should play.
Thank you for watching, subscribing, and liking my videos. You’ll find over 800 videos at my channel, Phoenix Rising, as well as other videos at my newest YouTube channels, The Mystic Crone and Spirits n’ Stuff.
Included in this post: My own personal experience. The meaning of “Doppelgangers”. Is there a purpose behind them? Are they demonic? What is their myth & folklore? The scientific low-down. A handful of people’s personal experiences. A possible explanation for this phenomenon.
Source: https://everycathasatale.blogspot.com/…/my-personal… Clairsentience: One of the most memorable and recent experiences I’ve had with clairsentience is an experience that I actually included in my last book, The Divine Me, on page 61. The short version… I was at a stop light at an intersection and when the light turned green, I simply knew I should not go, and my body confirmed this by freezing up. Once the rampant speeding car barreled though this intersection, the speeding car that would have broadsided us if I had been making my turn, I knew that it was safe to continue, and so did my body.
Clairsentience works overtime for me when I’m doing readings with a deck of tarot cards. They seem to be a trigger for me, and one glance can reveal things about my querent that I just “know”. If people really were aware of how revealing this can be, there might be some who would choose not to get readings at all. And I’ve often wondered if it works like this for other readers, and if not, what are they picking up and how?
This happened one time when I was at a Scooter’s Coffee Shop doing a reading for a lady. She was 30-something, blond, and looked so quiet and nice and slightly worried and sad. I laid my first row of cards out on the table and I said (in a discreet whisper), “Someone is having an affair.”, me thinking it must be her husband or boyfriend, what do I know. She vehemently denied it, “Oh, no, nope, no.” I kept telling her “Yes, someone is having an affair.”
Probably in desperation by now, she leans over the table, cups her hands around her mouth and in a stage whisper says, “Me, it’s me, I’m having an affair.”
[excerpt]… But the truth is, you will never escape from the world of cliques, never. I thought that this eccentric novelty would disappear once life raced past the halls of junior high and high school; but no, this strange phenomenon will follow you to college and on into the workplace. It has also surprisingly followed me into the world of publishing, as well as the world of tarot. Everywhere — everywhere — you will find a group of ramshackle people drawing mysterious boundaries, forming unnamed clubs, clinging to each other like Neanderthals in the midst of a dangerous stone age world.
This is just a note to let you know that I’ll be posting a lot more at Every Cat Has a Tale than I will be here at my beloved Magickal Connections. I absolutely hate the new blogging tools at this site. I find them awkward and restrictive, as well as irritating.
I love this blog, but if anyone has noticed, as far as posting goes, I use it primarily to pass along a link to new posts at my Other Blog. I will continue to do this.
However, I have to say that over the years here at WordPress, I’ve built this blog up with pages and pages of informative information on tarot and witchcraft, and I feel (quite proudly) that this blog can still stand on its own.
I’m not giving up Magickal Connections, but I’m using it in a different way for my own purposes.
If you are getting phone calls from your ex, they have chosen the most direct form of communication—this is a great sign. This is very up front and keeps you in real and direct contact, making it feel as if the relationship really isn’t over for good…
I have promised for a long time to post a Personal blog post @ my personal blog spot. Today I delivered. The following blog post, “Finding My Purple”, is an EXTREMELY personal experience ~
The mother-in-law saga continues at my Other Blog (Every Cat Has a Tale), which has just had a facelift, by the way. It’s the last of this series, and hopefully the final conclusion to mothers-in-law period. MIL#5 is up this week. What did I learn from her? Click Here to find out. (PS ~ you have to Bring This Blog Post Up to make this link live)
And the saga continues. It’s amazing, actually, that no matter how comfortable, or how trying, this relationship has been in my life, I’ve learned something from each and every one of these connections and these women.
About time!…a new post @ Every Cat ~ the 1st post in a series of 5. The topic: Mothers-in-Law. I know this is a very mundane subject, and I’m posting this link on a very magickal blog. But the topic is so universal, and there’s so many people who’ve had their own in-law experiences (good, bad, and ugly), that I think every one of us can learn something from someone else’s personal experiences. It’s enlightening…to say the least. You might be surprised– so often we learn the most where we expected to learn nothing.
I’ve been trying to post diligently a weekly “catch-up/review” post at my Tumblr page. This is a good way to gather all the Stuff I’ve been doing all over the internet all week into one spot. (I also enjoy playing with Tumblr). Here’s this week’s post, and I’m betting that I’ve got a few things up my sleeve in this internet world that you might not have been aware of, because just like me, you can’t be everywhere at once. 🙂
