You have been pitted against conventionality for quite some time now. You may even find yourself nose to nose with an individual that is closed to all those things your heart is open to. You’ve approached them before, many times, armed (you thought) with all the right words to fracture the wall they have built around themselves.
They keep a very tight rope on those they are connected to, those more pliable individuals, often shielding them from a truth, or the real story, about you — and them — or something even bigger. The cards tell me this has been an ongoing thing for a very long time now, so long that how or why it started may be lost in the dark mist of time and motive and reason.
They are impenetrable at this point, but you already know that. In their mind they are right, and they always will be. This idea is so entrenched within them, whether it is a reality or not, and even if it never was. They’ve grown to believe it, for real. The cards tell me that it’s time for you to shift your focus now, to yourself. Happiness is only a decision away.
Your Daily Cards: 3/pentacles; 3/swords; The Magician — reversed; 10/wands — reversed
You’ve been chipping away at something for quite some time now, diligently, even patiently. The cards tell me that this is not the first such scenario for you, twice before you’ve done this. “The third time is the charm”, I hear in my head. This is what people around you were telling you, at the beginning anyway. Many of these people have since fallen by the wayside, grown impatient with you and your newest project, feeling that they’ve seen this all before.
Still, you keep chipping away, focused and undeterred by the lack of support.
It hurt, deeply, whatever this thing was that caused your heartbreak, this thing that brought you so much sorrow out of the teeth of despair, this thing that had once been hopeful, and bright, and potentially miraculous, all shiny and new. Though it feels as those this thing rests in the past, you still shed a tear on many a day, brought on by memories and having survived the storm.
The cards tell me that there was one major individual who had a hand in all this, supported by someone too cowardly to come out publicly and truthfully state their opinion. Beware this individual, they did not support you then, and they do not support you now. They lurk around the edges of your life disguised as a friend.
You have not yet manifested what it is you so desire, but your persistence is to be admired. There is another direction that you are meant to go, even though you are trying very hard not to think about this possibility. But do think, deeply and with much clarity, be open to other options, choose wisely, maybe you have done all you can chipping away at this thing. Maybe Spirit is offering you an alternative, another opportunity, another life path, that is waiting for you.
Know that changing direction, changing focus, changing your life will not make the burdens of regret, sadness, or heartbreak go away. You will just be made stronger, and you will be able to carry them more easily on your journey, bolstered by new experiences, renewed energy, and unexpected blessings received along the way.
Someone is so exhausted from trying to walk a tightrope, trying to balance something overwhelming and impossible to contain. You are just so worn out — physically, mentally, emotionally — trying to maintain a balance where one is no longer possible. There is just a great feeling of weariness from this card for this reading. This may be someone trying to balance two jobs, two relationships, or two sets of any type of circumstances that has just become such a burden.
The one thing I can tell you, is that between these two things, you are closer, more attached, more comfortable with one than the other; which should at least make the decision easier, the choice more clear cut.
9/wands, reversed
You have had to reset boundaries several times, over and over, and this is also making you weary, weary and exhausted. You may have tried to handle a situation in a way you thought could make everyone happy, when this was not realistic, or possible. There is a strong feeling here of someone who is battle weary, someone who is ready to throw down the gauntlet and move on.
The edges of your boundaries are scarred and weakened, and the effort you put forth to keep everyone on their side of the fence is becoming more difficult, especially since lines have been blurred.
2/cups, reversed
The couples card. Heads are bent together, cups held for a final toast. It’s been a long and difficult road, and there is the realization that something may be coming to an end, someone is going to be saying good-by. You’ve tried and tried and tried, but throughout this long and painful process, you now have to make a choice, you have to choose, a decision must be made.
The one thing I can tell you, you did not fail. You made a valiant, though some would say misguided, effort to keep something alive that was most likely coming to a natural conclusion. Transitions and the completion of cycles, often described poetically as death, is a pivotal and often traumatic event for the human soul.
Daily Tarot Card ~ Queen/swords, Light Seers Tarot Someone is taking some quiet solitary time to really sit back and think something through very analytically, with deep intellectual thought. You are removing yourself from the line of fire, or the hub of a chaotic or messy situation, to figure out what you want to do and where you want to go from here. This card tells me that someone is putting thoughts (and words) together in a careful and mindful matter so that they are clearly understood. There have been enough misunderstandings and miscommunication.
The Deck: Green Witchcraft Tarot The Cards: The Battle Wagon — reversed; The Sidhe; 2/pentacles
Someone is going no where fast, and you seem to be the individual the universe has chosen to set this someone right. (lucky you) While they are charging through life, barrelling along at breath taking speed towards a predictable crash, you may feverishly be working behind the scenes to manifest a right outcome for them, even though they seem to be oblivious, or don’t much care. There is the distinct feeling that your interference will be met with resentment and passionate resistance. Ignore this, do it anyway. In the end — when their eyes are finally open to reality, or they see a positive outcome through you — they will be grateful. For now, they will be a brat.
Catalyst... a person or thing that precipitates an event.
This reading gives us a unique look at the journey of three individuals, or the evolvement of a single person, to a place where they are able to assert their will, make rational decisions, and realize that life’s choices are indeed theirs and theirs alone… as with some readings, the reading itself was an evolving thing, working through the layers of cards to reach the point.
This reading was like pulling teeth. It took the last set of cards to finely define the characters of these individuals, who appear to be women, as well as their aspirations and expectations. This feels like an ongoing situation… so what will the outcome be?
Once again, there are three people in this reading, maybe these are three completely separate individuals dealing with their own lives and their own personal dilemmas…
Or is this all one person?
1) 2/swords; 3/pentacles
You are being bombarded with unwelcome advice and criticism. In the midst of this bombardment, caught in the act of trying to protect and defend yourself, you lose sight of what it is you’re working towards and which direction you want to go. You thought you had it figured out, you thought you had it carefully planned, you thought it would work. But these voices, these people and the chaotic confusing energy they are creating has interfered with your mind and your train of thought.
Advice/solutions: King/cups — reversed
Follow your heart. Discard the negative opinions being shot your way, or even the negative people, if this is how far you want to go. Know that your own instinctive intuitive knowledge is correct. Know that you had it right the first time, all those plans, all those ideas and goals. Know that sometimes in life there are people who are actually afraid of someone else’s success, someone else’s bold plans and actions, because they themselves are scared and insecure.
2) Page/wands — reversed; The Chariot — reversed
You may feel totally upended. You had something planned, you were ready to go, and wham — someone did something to knock the energy, passion, and enthusiasm right out from under you. You seem to have lost your desire as well, for this thing you were ready to do, this place you were ready to go, perhaps this person you were running towards.
It’s like the air has been let out of your balloon.
What happened? What did they do? What were you told? What did you discover? What was revealed? What was the turning point for you, that maybe changed your mind?
Advice/solution: 3/cups — reversed
Leave the crowd behind, leave the clique behind; leave behind other people’s expectations, and unnecessary burdens, and impossible standards. Step away from an individual, or a group, that are clouding your judgement, making you question your decisions and choices, making you feel unsure of the world around you and of reality itself.
Step away into the lovely oblivion of introspection. Reacquaint yourself with the world as you last saw it, when your visions, dreams, and goals were clear, and sharp, and in focus. Go within to find yourself, and then trust your instincts and move forward.
3) King/cups — reversed; 2/pentacles — reversed
Your indecision, your inability to make a choice; the idea that you have that this situation can go on indefinitely and doesn’t need immediate attention… this is all maddening to the individuals in your life, specifically the individuals directly connected to this dilemma.
There is the feeling of something, or someone, or a situation being trapped in a strange sense of “limbo”, not being able move forward, or backward, and the idea that with this state of being everything will be lost. If you would only make a decision and stick to it… that’s the trouble here, you see, that you keep changing your mind.
Advice/solution: 9/cups — reversed
You will never get exactly what you wished for, and even if you would, it would not live up to what you thought it would be. Are your expectations too high, or unrealistic, or romanticized? With this third reading, there is just the most disheartening feeling that you will never be realistically happy, and I hate to end a reading on such a negative note. So let me leave you with some suggestions:

know that what you have right now may be all you get
don’t give up so easily — on a situation, a relationship, an individual, or yourself
learn patience

*Note: This is the first time I’ve attempted a reading this deep, or with mediumship connections, in a very long time. I have used tarot cards in the past to do readings for criminal cold cases, but I have never left myself so open to the cards and their story, as I did today. This reading was the result.

The knight of swords is so darn impulsive, jumping from one situation and relationship to another, without nary a thought of the consequences. As I promised in the video, here is a link to my blog post about the “serial over-lapper”, someone who starts a new relationship before they have ended their present relationship… terrified of being alone, they must be.
Two people want the same thing, how is this going to roll?
The Deck: After Tarot The Cards: Page/swords; 4/pentacles; 5/swords; 9/pentacles — reversed; 8/wands; 9/swords
Today the cards are talking about opposition. Two people trying with great effort to both claim the same thing, And all this time, a third party trying desperately to hang onto it, whatever “it” is… general reading here, so there are many possibilities and scenarios: a relationship, a material item, opportunities, a job, privileges, etc.
There is a lot of swift and impulsive communication going on, meaning that things will be said that may later be regretted, the truths may be stretched or exaggerated, as each party tries to make their case (court case? — for someone). It actually feels like two parties verbally bringing this issue before someone. There is the feeling of each trying to convince a person who will make a decision that they are the better choice. Who are they trying to convince?… a judge, a lover, an employer?
A swift decision will be coming. The page of swords will get what it is they want, but the victory will be shallow, and it will lack the feel-good energy of a genuine victory. It will taste bittersweet. The opposing party will be left decimated, and it may be a while before they can emotionally and mentally work through what it is they lost… and why.
You may find yourself taking on a difficult conversation, and not by choice. In order to make a point, in order to reach a goal, in order to come out ahead (in a positive way), you may be called upon to face someone, or a situation, head on. This is going to mean talking to them, or talking about it. This is the only way you’re going to clear the air and celebrate your independence and peace of mind.
Spirit says, “Swallow the bitter pill first, and celebrate with sweet wine afterward.”
By opening the channel of communication in a straight forward (sometimes blunt) manner, you will put something into motion that’s been sitting at a stand still. You will revive a situation, a relationship, or a person with a new sense of passion and energy. You will cut through insignificant people, opinions, or influences that are no longer serving you.
At the time I taped this video, I was recovering from a seasonal bug that was going around. I was still exhausted and didn’t feel good on many levels, but I wanted to do a video so bad that I went ahead with it.
The result are several strange clips of weird readings strung together. I felt so frustrated, but I continued reading after reading, until the last reading I did, the final three cards, gave us the main point of this whole thing. But what I didn’t realize until I put it all together, is that all of those seemingly “disjointed” readings, when I felt so tired and disconnected, were all actually leading to the climax.
This reading was just filled with the uncertain energies of choices to be made, decisions to reach, and impending conversations that need to be had. Whatever the scenario in your life that fits this reading, I empathize with you, as it appears the universe may be giving you a second chance, a do-over. But here’s the thing — this is a moment of dejavu — you’ve had this second chance before, and it didn’t work, and in a big way. So, do you really want to give it another go? Sometimes it might be best to let sleeping dogs lay, just saying.
The Deck: Light Seer’s Tarot (The High Priestess; The Tower; The Emperor — etc.)
Someone doesn’t see it coming; or someone is deliberately trying to ignore it; or someone is in denial; or someone is not listening to that little voice in their head… Warning lights should be going off.
I started this as a written reading and decided that there was just too much here to say, so it’s a video now. Also, for the past several days two cards have been coming up together reading, after reading… 6/cups and The Moon — with The Tower. Someone from your past is coming in with a devastating secret that will altar lives; someone from your past is coming in at a time that will prove disruptive to your life as you know it now. Someone is coming in and going to reveal something to you that will blow you away.
The Deck:The Seer’s Tarot (King/wands; 8/pentacles; Queen/swords — reversed; The Moon; 6/cups)
I’m seeing two scenarios here:
First, the words from an old song I vaguely recall is running through my mind — “Caught in the middle with you…”
As this King and Queen are working on their connection, their relationship, and their life, an unseen third party is quietly going on with their existence between them, in the middle. She seems oblivious, untroubled even, intent on her work, her daily tasks.
Second, there is a lot of quiet, in the background work going on between this King and Queen. There is the feeling of opposition between them right now, maybe a lot, maybe only enough to irritate the connection. But they’re working on it.
This could refer to fixing an existing relationship, reconnecting an old relationship, or being involved in an extracurricular relationship… that sounds odd, but that best describes it.
The Moon is so beautiful and so exquisitely problematic. It so often exposes lies, and deception, and secrets hidden in the shadows, those dark corners of our mind and our life. The problem with secrets, other than they represent something that must be pretty undesirable if someone doesn’t want them known, is that there is always the possibility of exposure, sooner or later.
With today’s cards, the 6 of cups shows us that there is a strong link here to someone’s past, whether memories, people, relationships, or regrets. Maybe a sad combination of all.
My prediction… when the secrets are exposed, the couple will be successful in healing their connection. But for the individual caught in the middle… how does the rest of that song go?
It looks like there’s been one too many “forks in the cake”, and what a pretty scrumptious cake it looks, but there are times when sharing is frowned upon. This is one of them. The three of swords unabashedly proclaims three-way relationships that usually result in expected ramifications. In this case, you’ve had your time to mourn a loss, lick the wounds of betrayal, and put a pox upon a liar. But now it’s time to let all that go.
Take a deep breath…
Now it’s time to focus on yourself, your inward spiritual self, your centered mental self, and the glorious physical self that encompasses it all. Grab your knapsack and head to the spa, the hairstylist, your favorite clothing store. Buy new makeup, buy new shoes, and get to marching down that new path with purpose, your path, a direction that you’ve chosen for yourself. Embrace determination and intent with a healthy dose of ego. Yes, to paraphrase a makeup commercial, “You’re worth it.”
All of this positive action, intention, and thought will manifest something new and fascinating. It will put before you an opportunity, or an individual, that will be quite a surprise. Own it.
