A Few Magickal Things

             Yes!  This is MY cup of apple cider.

It’s in the mid-to-upper 40s here this morning; and even though it’s a bit chilly, that didn’t stop me from going outside on the back porch in nothing but my nightgown to get some cold apple cider from the kettle-that-is-way-too-big-for-the-fridge. It was exhilarating! (both the cold and the cider) 

I have discovered this morning that my Samhain Apple Cider is as good cold as it is hot; it’s rather refreshing cold (remember, along with lots of the usual spices, I add peach tea bags to mine). Yum.

These are a beautiful set of chakra pendulums. This photo is a hot love spell that was underway for a client. I’ve always said that I don’t do spells for people, but maybe that’s not entirely accurate. I have a Candle Altar Service, traditionally called “Setting the Lights”, and I will dress and burn a spell candle for you for your particular intention. I prepare this on a tray, as you see in the photo, with additional herbs, stones, and sometimes some very interesting items added to it. When all is said and done and it’s burned down, I use the remaining candle wax, along with the herbs from the tray, as well as extra herbs and things, and create a mojo bag from the spell remnants that I mail to you. This has been very successful, and I’ve received enthusiastic emails from very happy clients.
PS ~ the stuff I add to the mojo bag will definitely not include the statue that you see in the photo! This has a place of honor on my entertainment center, and it’s raised more than a few eyebrows from guests of varying ages and spiritual backgrounds. If you can’t see it clearly, it’s a couple caught in the rapture of a sexual pose. It’s proven quite effective in spells to produce not only love but some major physical passion as well (she says with a smile).

Ask the Witch ~ Oh, Boy, the Questions I Get!

The following are actual questions that are laced in the comments on this blog from various pages.  You would think some of the answers to these questions would be obvious to the people asking them, but it’s often hard for people caught up in negative circumstances, or a negative frame of mind, to view their situation honestly and to clearly see what’s needed to fix it.  I’m delighted that people feel comfortable enough at Magickal Connections to ask what they want to ask.  I sincerely try to think of the best answer, the most helpful answer, the most needed answer possible to each and every individual leaving a question.  If anyone else has some good advice to pass along to these people, please do so with a comment.  Fresh insight is always appreciated!  *Note:  I’m posting the questions unedited, as they appear in the original post.

Let the Magick Find You

#1 ~ Greeting Queen Amythyst, first of all I think your presence is so beautiful, well I have a trial that is suppose to start the 23rd of this month. It has been going for at least a year now and they have charged me with felon poss. of a firearm. Well I’m tired of going back and forth (which I know the universe is working) so I simply want the court cases to either disappear or for the case to get dismissed/not guilty. I have been to jail before and it’s something i never want to do again. I’m considering the beef tongue spell for the outcome I’m looking for along with something to help on me not ever going to jail again. If there’s anything else that you think you could shine some light on please feel free! Thanks in advance

My Reply ~

Just a quick note here before we get to the specifics… If you don’t want to ever go to jail again, one sure way to prevent this from happening is not to break the law. I know, this seems so obvious, but for some reason the universe insisted I say it.

One word of caution, and that is that the universe, the laws of karma, they all work towards justice and proper endings. There are spells out there that should not be cast if you’re actually guilty, because the energy will come back to bite you. Think about this before you resort to spell casting for this situation. If you’re actually not guilty, then go for it with a clean conscience and pure intentions.

This is my little light, and I hope it’s shining! Best wishes for your future.

#2 ~ My ex has decided to just come back into my life, use and discard my body and emotions and I was looking for a binding spell. I wanted to make sure #3 was the most appropriate for the occasion. I’m tired of him popping up whenever he feels like and then disappear like nothing ever happened.

My Reply ~

Excuse me…Your ex “decided” to come back into your life? You sound as though you don’t realize that You have a choice here, that You can make a decision about whether you want this individual to come back into your life or not. Spells are okay, and I’m not saying that you don’t need one, or could not successfully use one. But before we resort to spell casting, lets take a good look at the situation and what you could do mundanely to correct it.

If you’re tired of this man popping up in your life and using you: 1) Cut all ties, and I mean all ties. Sometimes, even without knowing it, we might send mixed signals to an ex… I’m done with you– but it’s okay if you still call and I’ll talk to you, or it’s okay if we still see each other occasionally, or it’s okay for you to interfere in my life. CUT ALL TIES 2) If your ex does not take this finality well, or still tries contacting you, and you’ve exhausted all efforts to stop this, like changing your phone number, blocking him on social sites, etc.; it’s time to get a restraining order and make it official. 3) Stop allowing someone to control you; find your inner strength; know that you are an adult, not a toy for this individual to play with at will.

First try the mundane way. If you do, and you’ve done all the important things you have to do to keep this individual away and they still wind up in your life…then pull out the magick.

#3 ~ PLEASE HELP ….. PLEASE!!!!
I’m Cuban we only do spells for health,wealth,luck,and cleanses. unable to go to Cuba I Was desperate So I got help from a very old Mexican lady we know to help bring me and my hubby together that PEOPLE SPENT YEARS doing voodoo to break us up. She took me to Bury our names on paper, birthdays,pics,and his socks in a grave yard with pins and very colorful ribbons i HEARD it’s for separation. Is it true please help.

My Reply ~

First, Since you said that you’re Cuban and can’t do this type of spell (a love spell to reunite a couple), I’m trying to wrap my mind around the difference between just doing a love spell on your own, or participating with someone else to do a love spell. In any case, the fact that you participated with this lady means– you did the spell, honey. Second, how do you know that people were doing voodoo to break you up? Most of the time, people involved in this kind of activity are very discreet. And more often than not, when a couple’s relationship is just done and over, it’s just done and over naturally, all on it’s own. Not all relationships are meant to last forever.

About the spell, I’ve never heard of it. And again, trying to figure out why you would think that someone who did a spell for you (or with you) would be working a spell for the opposite outcome that you intended.

Beware of paranoia.

#4 ~ I have a question with binding. If someone is binding you would you have a dream off someone cutting you ooen and takes just your internal organs and sews you up. I also am an angelic being thats been reincarnated.

My Reply ~

I don’t do dream interpretations. The symbolism involved is so unique and personal to every individual that it’s hard to say what a dream like this might mean. It could mean that you’re afraid of showing your true inner-self to most people, or it could mean you watched a slasher movie before bed. Hard to say. I would say that if someone bound you, you would no longer be able to do, say, or indulge in whatever it is that they bound you from. That’s the whole purpose behind a binding.

#5 ~ Will burning these candles one timework do i have to burn them. Again suppose they turn black while they are burning do i to burn them a gain ehere does i get these herbs from can i put more than one person name in the can dle do i buried the glass to [*Note:  this question pertains to a spell on the “Command & Compel” page at this blog… https://wytchymystique.com/spells/command-compel-spells/ ]

My Reply ~

I’m killing two birds with one stone here ~ The answer is yes to both questions. When bringing something to you, keep the remnants from your spell in a safe place, or even in a place that is fitting the intention, that is the “stuff” from a love spell under your bed; a mojo bag filled with the remnants from a money spell in your purse; etc. Second question: not only is it okay to do a spell more than once on the same person for a different request; it’s also okay to repeat a spell on occasion, especially when you’d like to add a different twist to the outcome, for the same request…. also, I don’t really think the word “request” is quite right in these situations, but since this is how you worded your question, this is how I answered it, thinking it would be easier for you to understand. A spell by no means is a “request”. When you cast a spell you are deliberately and willfully manipulating energy in the universe to manifest a change, to move energy, and it certainly will. The word “request” implies that you are asking for something.

My Reply ~

Depending upon the magickal practitioner you ask, you’d probably get a variety of different answers. Even in the occult world there are extremists at both ends. There are the fluffy bunnies who are ever in fear of getting their feet wet and doing some ballsy magic that’s got some in-your-face punch to it because they might offend someone or something, and at the other end of the spectrum are people who love the dark aspect of everything, the darker and more warped the better, and they are always searching for something darker. Personally, I would say this magic falls in the shady gray area. Follow your own moral guides. Cast at your own discretion.

#7 ~ Hello I am just curious about doing the command spell. I watched another witch video and she said to use the Black candle for yourself and the white candle for the person you want to command, but you’re saying do the opposite. So now I am really confused. Also can this command spell be used for a group of people or a entity, ie a company. No one specific person, name unknown.

My Reply ~

Yes to all of the above.  And to reiterate what I sent in the email– If you ask 5 witches how to do one particular spell, you’re going to get 5 different answers. Spell crafting is like cooking, and everyone does things just a bit differently and uniquely, suiting to them and their energy and their associations. As I said, “It’s okay if my potato salad is a little different than your potato salad. I’m betting that it’s all good.”

Of course it exists. It exists in every healing spell, every spell to bring positive change to someone’s life. It exists in the form of unexplained miracles and connection with the Divine. Good magick can be found everywhere, even in the prayers of people who don’t believe in magick…It’s all “Magick”, honey.

Today I stained my wooden staircase.  I’ve never stained anything in my life, and I discovered that wood stain is nothing like paint.  (Paint I know, paint I can handle.)  I practiced on a board in the garage a little while, playing around with it, until I felt comfortable enough to start on the double staircase that makes up the foyer in my split-level house.  This is the final product, still wet.

The result of having a staircase wet with wood stain is that we have to use the backdoor.  Following is the sign that I posted on my front door so that it would be made clear:

Nice People Do Gray Magick

It’s time to pull this little gem from the pages of my Big Black Book.  Not for me, mind you, at the moment, but for a friend who is in need of this magick.  There is nothing worse, nothing more vile, nothing more evil or black, than a gossip.  My definition of this Cretan:  someone who deliberately makes up stories and information about someone that will harm their reputation, their business, their personal relationships, or any other aspect of their life.  Yes, I’ve used these spells myself, back in the day, when they were needed.  Yes, they work; they certainly did for me.  And yes, I’m a nice person, dammit, and nice people have a right to defend themselves, especially with sneaky back-stabbing liars and gossips.  Magick may be the only defense you have.

So I’m blowing the dust off these delicious binding spells and posting them here for my friend and anyone else in need ~

Binding a Gossip

Most of you reading this has, at one time or another, been the victim of malicious and false rumors, innuendos, or flat out bald face lies. This phenomena used to be contained to the narrow crowded hallways of junior and senior high schools, the quiet corridors of office buildings, the loud backrooms of break-rooms, local neighborhood cafes and bars…etc. With the advent of the internet, instant communication, and access that was previously unheard of, this interesting little social oddity is becoming more prevalent than ever, easier to manipulate, to spread, and much more destructive because of the wider audience and the hit and run methods available to anyone with a computer, or cell phone. However, even in the 21st century, gossip still travels the old fashioned way: by word of mouth.

And what makes gossip so popular is our naïve desire to believe what we hear, regardless of the source, whether facts check out, whether it makes sense, or even whether it is believable– the more fantastic and incredible the story, in fact, the quicker we are to accept it, or to eagerly pass it along.

There may not be much the mundane victim of gossip can do about it, other than an expensive and time consuming lawsuit perhaps, if the perpetrator of this brouhaha is sullying a public reputation, damaging a business, or causing serious complications in the victim’s life.

But there is something a Witch can do about a gossip.  She can bind the mouth of the one who is spreading untruths & fantastic stories. She can tie their tongue and still their voice. She can throw the negative energy they are generating back upon the perpetrator, where it will fester and putrefy, to destroy the hooligan from the inside out.

A Binding:

I have used the following spells personally, and I can tell you that they worked for me, often in explosive and unpredictable ways which left me open-mouthed and in awe of this magick. Karma has a way of stepping in to handle any injustice of life, and I have no qualms about stepping into the shadows to grab the light and use this energy to kick-ass. This is one of the benefits of being a gray witch.

If you have the magickal ability, control of your energies, determination and purpose, and if you’ve just plain had enough…you’ll find these spells to be just what you need.

For serious situations, use all three of these methods in tandem:

The Mirror:

Purchase a small hand mirror, one large enough for a small picture to fit within its center. Take a photo of the target and cut it out; lay it in the center of the mirror…vent now at the target, let all the negative energy that you feel for this person roil and boil to the surface, spit in his/her face if that is your inclination.

When you have spent yourself expressing your anger…sprinkle over this picture goofer dust, graveyard dirt, banishing powder. You could also add cayenne pepper, or any other herb/ingredient that you have successfully used in the past or that is linked to hexes/curses.

Now, encircle this picture with it’s mound of maliferous ingredients with a circle of salt– sealing the target within.

Find a safe place to keep this charm, perhaps beneath a dresser; and cover it with a bowl if you have pets in the house so that they won’t stumble upon it. Every once in a while, perhaps in conjunction with a waning moon phase, pull the mirror carefully out of its hiding place and re-sprinkle it with a bit of the powders; check the seal of salt and add to it if need be to keep the circle strong…each time you bring it out– throw your emotions at this individual.

The Poppet:

In addition– you can create a crude poppet, pin a photo of the face of the target on the face of the doll. Carefully, slowly, deliberately– stick straight pins through the mouth in a neat little row…rant, rave, spit, pound, stomp, rage. Throw your hatred and anger at this figure, then cover it in a black cloth and place it away in a secret spot.

The Witch’s Bottle:

You can also create a witch’s bottle…fill an empty bottle with pins, razor blades, shards of glass, needles, rusty nails– and a photo of the target. Add your urine to it. Close the bottle and seal it with black wax. Put it in a safe place and every once in a while, again with the waning of the moon, bring it out and shake it up— visualize the sharp objects in the bottle cutting the gossip, and the ability to gossip, from the target.

As I’ve said…

I’ve used these spells myself and was quite amazed at how well they work. But the thing is that this is an ‘ongoing’ thing, keep it up. Remember to check the mirror, less the circle of salt somehow get shifted about and create an opening. Don’t let the target sit in the bottle without bothering it now and then. Bring out the poppet, look into the target’s eyes and vent your rage ever so often…don’t let them forget, and don’t let them rest.

The energy will build.

A Lotta’ Drama ‘Bout Nothing

“I Offered the Wrong Fruit to This God!”…”I set up my altar wrong!”…”My Life is Falling Apart!”, they wail.

I love this! (In a warped and twisted way.)  People, mostly youngish people that I’m finding (mostly), have gone over-the-top insanely fixated on practicing their paganism from a strictly Historically Accurate context. We all know that this is impossible, those of us old ‘uns who’ve been around a while and tread the path from various perspectives and dimensions.

I sit back in quiet amazement watching the high-drama…”I’ve insulted Zeus and Cerridwen !”(Greek god; Celtic goddess, for those who don’t know, and that’s ok).  They either set an altar up “WRONG”, or put the wrong offering out, or put the opposing altar with the opposing deities from opposing pantheons and cultures up too close together, or on the wrong day, or with the wrong intention…on and on and on and on.

These kiddos make me tired, just watching them.  They must be expending an enormous amount of energy on the how and why, the “historical accuracy” of an ancient deity, the who and when, how much, how often, worrying about repercussions from the G’awds above if something isn’t done the way it was a bazillion years ago.

And in doing so, they are missing the point completely.

They are missing the blessing of any divine insight because they are so wrapped up in our physical world and fanatical practices, and totally consumed with worry about DOING IT WRONG.

How can Divinity get a message through all the dramatic over-the top cadder-walling going on, both verbally and in their mind.  You have to be still, and preferably calm and peaceful, to connect with that inner voice, the voice that most often winds up to be the spiritual world trying to reassure us, or give us a message, or direct us in some way.  You can’t hear that voice when you’re all hot and angry under the collar because you are trying to reconstruct an ancient practice that has left no witnesses, and you’re all mad that no one understands what you’re trying to do, and you’re even more angry that some people are telling you it’s not only impossible, it’s unnecessary.

How can anyone connect with the Divine through all that?

The biggest negative to come out of all this, that I can see, is that these people are blaming everything that goes wrong in their life on the fact that they might be worshipping a deity incorrectly, and it’s the mad wrath of the god or goddess coming down on them.

Bullshit.

You’re not that important in the big scheme of ancient deities.

Your life is falling apart, if indeed it is, by the decisions you make, your own personal choices; the people you choose to associate with; the life-style that you choose to live.  Your life is falling apart because of personal fears, personal weaknesses, personal demons.

Your life is falling apart because of all these things and maybe more.

It’s time for you to grow some kahoonas and take responsibility for the mess your life is in instead of blaming some ancient deity for your personal predicament.

You can’t fix it, repair it, or rebuild it by going bat-shit fixated crazy trying to worship some ancient god or goddess in an “historically accurate” way; and then getting yourself all messed up because you feel you’ve failed this in some way.

And then there are those people who just LOVE DRAMA, and they’ve found the perfect foible with which to feed this appetite.  I’ve seen desperate posts by people simply hungry for attention, with all kinds of crazy stories about how they did something to bring down the wrath of the gods upon them.

And, you know, they generally get the attention they seek.

Again, I’m amazed.

They get patted on the back, blessings sent, hugs and kisses, because some big-ass old god is angry that they set up an altar the WRONG WAY, and now they are VICTIMS.  Of course, the people who respond to such nonsense in this way are enabling this victim mentality, and it will go on and on and on and on.  This won’t stop.  It feeds too many emotional, psychological, and mental needs on such a wide variety of levels, both for the “victim” and the enabler.  It’s not going to go away.

The saddest thing is that a true Divine Connection will never be made, experienced, enjoyed, or accepted for what it is.

Be still.

Find peace.

Sit with the sun on your face.

Stand with the moist earth beneath your bare feet.

Listen to birds.

Pet cats.

Pick a bouquet of wild flowers.

Watch a sunrise, or a sunset…

And know that you’ve just DONE IT RIGHT.

A Crystal, A Candle, & a French Chant

I’m migrating to a new computer, thanks to my son, who is doing all the technical work AND supplying me with the new computer (those 15 hours of labor 26 years ago are paying off *lol*).  He has moved EVERYTHING from my old computer into the new one, which is a huge job, as I’ve accumulated so much through years of writing, photographing, video taping, and Doing Stuff.  I’m actually finding things that I’ve forgotten about in old files, and that’s what I’m posting here today.  The following Spell was in a folder I used for taking notes, called “Personal Notebook”.  I don’t have these entries dated, nor have I recorded any original sources, but as so often the case with this type of thing, this Spell is perfect for the Here n’ Now ~

“Eleven Mysteries Exercise”…brief notes:
(personally modified)…

crystal, white candle,

Take a deep breath. Place your hands, palms down, one on each side of the crystal. Empty your mind. Slowly open your hands so that they will rest on the table, but the palms are facing each other– still the same distance apart, one on each side of the crystal. If you are trying to materialize an object, place a lodestone or pair of lodestones beside the crystal.

As you recite the chant, bring your hands together– a mark at a time. This means that you will be saying the chant eleven times in all, while focusing on the crystal in the middle that rests upon your desire.

Begin, with the first of eleven repetitions:

“Venez a’ moi. (pause) Come to me.

De’plier. (pause) Unfold.

Dimension to dimension.

De’plier. (pause) Unfold.

As you utter the charm, your hands will most likely grow significantly warm and you may feel as if you are actually holding something– which, in essence, you are.

On the eleventh repetition, as you utter the last word (“De’plier”), with a rush of breath, open your eyes and look immediately up to the right– that place where we manufacture from fantasy into reality of the spoken word and say– “Cachet! Tow!”, which roughly translates to “hide the spell”.

Double Dreams ~ Anyone care to Interpret this?

The other night, on my way to see a movie with my daughters, I told them about my dream the night before.  One of my daughters was intensely excited when I told her that I had a disturbing dream the night before because she said she did too, and she wanted to compare them.  As I started relating my dream to her, she said, “Oh, my!”, and virtually started bouncing in her seat.

My dream ~  There was a shadowy beginning part that was dark and ominous, like black and white quickened clips from a horror movie, most of which slipped from my mind for the most part, except that it involvd “A Man”.  This man had something to do with the second part of this dream, which in contrast is starkly blazened on my mind.  Some dreams are like that, I believe, because they are more than just an ordinary dream.  And this was one of those dreams.

The second part…There was a knock on my front door.  I opened and heard someone say, “The police want to talk to you.”  (Your stomach kind of goes ‘thud’ when you hear those words.)  I went outside, where there was a squad car with two officers sitting in the front seat.  I stood by the passenger side, and the officer opened the car door.  He was holding a child’s baby doll in his hands.  He was crying , and he was retching, and he was trying to get ready to tell me something.

I realized in one sickening moment that it had to be something unusually gruesome and extremely horrific because of his reaction.  I don’t think I wanted to hear what he was going to say.  I woke myself up, which sounds odd, but I believe that I deliberately pulled myself from this dream.

My daughter’s dream ~ My daughter told me that she also dreamed of “A Man” on the same night.  She said it was a terrible frightening dark and horrific nightmare.  The man kidnapped her, and she said she tried and tried to escape from him..but she couldn’t.

If anyone reading this is interested in interpreting either of these dreams, or in posting an interpretation behind both dreams together, please feel free to do so in the comment boxes below.  Needless to say, the dreams themselves were scary enough to each of us who had them, but after we put them together, I must admit, we’re a little creeped out.

Psychic Oil ~ What is it? How do I use it? How do I make it?

Hello, from Hedgewytch Hollow! I’m tucked in bed this morning with my computer and a fresh cup of morning coffee (my first one, actually).  My ipod is singing to me in the background (an Indian/Yoga/Relaxation chant), and if I remember, I’ll tuck it at the bottom of this blog post so you can listen to it, too.  I have tons of stuff to do on this holiday weekend.  Where, in earlier years, I would spend weeks preparing for this end-of-the-year holiday, I’m going to do it all in ONE day this time– today!  But my kids are thrilled that we are ALL off work and home at the same time, so I’m going to chill, and we’re going to “wing it”.  This is going to be a warm and fuzzy huggy weekend; I can see it coming. 🙂

Anyway, on to the business at hand– Psychic Oil!

Magickal Oils

I’m going to include in this section my own personal recipes for the following magickal oils right out of my very own Book of Shadows, or “De’ Big Black Book”, as I like to call it.  The ingredients are mostly mundane plants, herbs, spices and such that you probably already have on hand in your kitchen cupboards; but don’t be thrown by a more exotic ingredient.  You can usually pick up an unusual herb or item at any local new-age pagan shop.  And if you aren’t lucky enough to live near a magickal shop, you can try finding such items online.

The base for these oils:  There are a lot of people who insist on using the most expensive oils they can find, but the truth is that this doesn’t matter, not really; and if pinching pennies is a must, then go with a cheap bottle of all vegetable oil from the grocery store.  If you choose, you may use olive oil, or mineral oil, or almond oil, or grape seed oil, or even some other oil that you feel a special affinity towards.  In my world, pinching pennies is a necessity, so I opt for the cheap stuff, and it works with absolute gusto, I can assure you.

The herbs:  I’d like to say that when I create my magickal oils, I include the very special power of “3”.  I use at least three types of herbs in each of my oils.  You don’t need anymore than that, really.  Of course, if you want to include herbs not only for your magickal intention, but also an herb for the planets, I would add three more herbs to the oil for a total of six.  If you choose to include corresponding herbs to the Element you’re working with, then add three more for a total of nine…the ultimate magickal number (By the awful awesome Power of 3X3, so the incantation goes).  But remember, this oil is your creation, go with the flow, follow your instincts, don’t be afraid to create your own unique magickal oil…Let the Spirit move you.

Some people follow the practice of heating their oils and ingredients just until you catch the scent in order to raise the vibrational energy of the magickal potion, right before adding it to a glass bottle, sort of like giving it a “jump start”.  Other people simply add the oil and ingredients to a bottle and cap it off.  I’ve done both.  To tell you the truth, I’ve noticed no magickal difference; however, if you believe that this extra step will also imbue your magickal oil with extra strength or direction, then by all means go for it. Experiment with the process and see if you notice any difference for yourself.  One last thought…some practitioners will sit their oils out to bathe in the moonlight, or the sunlight, depending upon the energies they’re trying to catch.  Keep this in mind.

Can you simply go out and buy these magickal oils already made?  Yes, you can actually, but I suggest that you learn to make them for yourself.  There is no doubt that the personal energy you put into crafting such items adds to their potency, their power, and their effectiveness.  All the experience and expertise in the world can’t give a love potion as much “oomph” as the creator’s own steaming hot lust.  Remember, witchcraft is all about energy and the successful manipulation of energy to achieve your desires.  The more personal energy you add to your own spells, the more powerful you will be, and the more successful are your magickal endeavors.

Psychic Oil

Most people think that psychic abilities come naturally and just kick in with no warning, much like they see in the movies and on tv.  And this might be true for a few super gifted individuals in the world, but for the rest of us, who may have spent a lifetime ignoring that little voice in our head, we have to give ourselves a little extra magickal oomph to pick up this information. The average individual does not get two to three minute flashes (in Full Technicolor, no less) of intuitive information.  In actuality, it can be extremely subtle and extremely easy to overlook with all the “brain chatter” that we have going on.   Psychic Oil is simply meant to help us focus much needed energy on this aspect of ourselves, on our efforts to see what most people never will, on our ability to hear that barely perceptible murmur.  Once you’ve used and strengthened your psychic muscle, you’ll find that you’ll need this tool less and less.

Anoint your third eye chakra with this oil before doing divination of any kind.  Anoint your pendulum, rune stones, divining rod, or any other divination tool that you’re using.  If it happens to be tarot cards, or some other card deck, don’t damage your cards with the oil, but add a touch of the oil to the bag or box where you keep your cards.  Anoint and burn a lavender candle dressed with psychic oil to call up and strengthen your psychic powers.

Correspondences & Ingredients
Day: Monday (the Moon)
Candle Color: lavender (preferred color), blue (the Moon)
Moon Phase:  waxing, or the dark Moon (connected to divination)
The Base: olive oil, vegetable oil, or grape seed oil
The Herbs: for divination– strawberry, thyme, valerian, vanilla, yarrow (arrow root); for prophetic dreams– jasmine, marigold, mugwort, onion, rose; to strengthen psychic powers– bay, celery, cinnamon, eyebright, grass, lemongrass, lavender, marigold, mugwort, rose, anise, thyme, yarrow (arrow root); to increase psychic awareness– anise, bay, cinnamon, cloves, gardenia, lemon grass, lilac, marigold, nutmeg, rose, anise, thyme, yarrow (arrow root); for astral projection– dittany of Crete, cinnamon, jasmine, sandalwood
